Brass Instructor (BIO included)

Jonathan Schultz holds degrees in tuba performance from Western Michigan University (BM) and Michigan State University (MM). A Yamaha Young Performing Artist, Mr. Schultz has performed with various military bands, the Palmetto Concert Band (SC), the Palmetto Brass Quintet (SC), the Capital City Brass Band (MI), the Augusta Symphony (GA), and at the Hot Springs Music Festival (AR).
Mr. Schultz is currently working on a Graduate Certificate in Performance at the University of South Carolina. He has taught music in East Lansing (MI), as well as served as a brass / low brass instructor at Chesaning Union H.S. (MI), Richland Northeast H.S. (SC), Ridgeview H.S. (SC), and Irmo H.S. (SC). He has also adjudicated marching bands in South Carolina. In addition, he has also worked with SPIRIT Drum and Bugle Corps (AL).
Mr. Schultz has studied tuba with Ron Davis, Phil Sinder, Kabin Thomas, Bob Whaley, Andy Miller, Marty Erickson, and Mark Cox. In addition, Mr. Schultz also performs on the euphonium.
